October is almost over, but breast health is something we should be talking about all year. And if there’s one thing we can get behind, it’s women reminding other women to take care of themselves.
That’s the idea behind Your Girls’ Girls, a new collaboration between Pressed Juicery, Bridget Bahl, and her fashion label, The Bar.
For Bridget, the campaign is especially personal. After overcoming breast cancer earlier this year, she recently shared that her mother has also been diagnosed. Her experience brings a different perspective to a message that’s easy to put off when life gets busy.
A Little Pink With a Purpose
For the collaboration, Pressed created a limited-edition Pink Dragon Fruit Pack with custom labels designed by The Bar. Each pack includes a breast self-exam guide, a clever addition to something you might already be picking up on your weekly juice run.
The campaign also made its way to New York City, where a pink juice cart popped up to hand out juices and encourage conversations around breast health.
And there’s more to it than pink packaging. Pressed donated $10,000 toward breast cancer research, while 20% of proceeds from The Bar’s campaign collection will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Keep the Conversation Going
With October coming to a close, we’re glad to see this conversation getting attention beyond the usual pink ribbons and awareness campaigns. And if you’ve been putting off a breast screening or an appointment with your doctor, consider this a good reason to finally get it on the calendar.
