If you live in LA, you already know Porto’s Bakery & Café is one of those places you keep going back to. The pastries are consistent, the flavors hit every time, and somehow you always end up ordering more than you planned.
And then there’s Our Place, which we’ve been fans of since they first launched. They came onto the market with a fresh take on cookware that actually made people want to be in their kitchens again. Clean design, thoughtful functionality, and pieces that feel as good to use as they look on your counter.
So when these two come together, it’s the kind of collaboration that immediately gets our attention.

The collab we didn’t know we needed (but fully do)
Launching April 21, this limited time partnership brings Porto’s into your home in a way that feels new, without losing what people love about it.
The collaboration will also be available through Porto’s national shipping, which means these limited edition pastries are going nationwide. You can actually have them delivered and make them at home, which feels like a very real upgrade to your usual oven routine.
At the center of it all is a collection of pastries designed specifically for Our Place’s Wonder Oven Pro, and this is where it gets interesting. It’s essentially the only air fryer and toaster oven you need, built to handle everything from quick snacks to full meals without overcomplicating your setup. It comes with eight functions including air fry, bake, roast, toast, broil, dehydrate, proof, and reheat, plus steam infusion technology that actually makes a difference when it comes to texture. It also cooks up to 40 percent faster than a traditional oven, which makes the idea of baking Porto’s at home feel a lot more realistic.
What we also like is that it leans into non toxic materials, with interiors and accessories made without forever chemicals, and a clean digital touchscreen that lets you dial in time and temperature without guessing. It feels very in line with how people actually want to cook right now.
The menu itself blends Porto’s Cuban roots with Our Place’s Pakistani heritage in a way that feels thoughtful, not forced. Comfort food, just with a little more personality.
What’s on the menu
The Spiced Chicken and Labneh Potato Ball is a new take on Porto’s classic. Golden and crispy on the outside, filled with tender chicken marinated in labneh, cilantro, garlic, and olive oil, with a mint pomegranate yogurt dip on the side. It’s familiar, but upgraded.
The Pistachio Rose Refugiado leans sweet. Flaky pastry, cream cheese, guava jam, finished with a rosewater glaze and roasted pistachios. It feels a little more elevated, but still very easy to love.
And for the pop up, the Cardamom Sunrise Iced Latte is the one to get. Espresso with vanilla milk, topped with cardamom vanilla bean sweet cream, candied orange, and spice. It’s slightly unexpected in the best way.
The pop up to know
Our Place Abbott Kinney is hosting a two day pop up to celebrate, and it’s exactly the kind of plan you say yes to without overthinking.
When: April 25 to 26
Time: 11am to 3pm
Expect fresh pastries, the iced latte, 15 percent off in store, and a giveaway for a chance to win the Wonder Oven Pro and a Porto’s Bake at Home Box.
