This clean, creamy smoothie recipe from registered dietitian and blogger babe McKel Hill of Nutrition Stripped is a perfect way to get our head back in the game after a whirlwind holiday season. It’s made with brazil nuts and almond butter for protein, maca for balance and has a luxurious texture that reminds us nutrition is about total nourishment – enjoyment included.

The smoothie is part of McKel’s upcoming 21 day reset program, designed to elevate and reset heath on a holistic level. Her program which launches just after the new year comes with an e-book, recipes, goal setting resources and educational tools, to help reclaim wellness as a complete picture. 2. It tastes like a milkshake! Tahini instead of almond butter with the cardamom is awesome. I made it once yesterday and found it a little sweet for my liking (even though I have a serious sweet problem), and might suggest cutting back a date unless it’s your evening dessert or your dates are on the small side.
