1 cup water
1 cup coconut or almond milk
2 Tbsp brazil nuts
2 Tbsp almond butter
2 Tbsp hemp seeds
4 pitted dates
1 Tbsp maca powder
¼ tsp ground cardamom
pinch of sea salt
*optimizer option: add in ½ tsp medicinal mushrooms or adaptogen powders like ashwagandha
In a blender, combine all ingredients until creamy. Serve immediately or store leftovers in a glass mason jar for up to 2 days.
sippin on this now and DAMN it’s good. added 1/2 a scoop of organic whey to mine for extra protein.
It tastes like a milkshake! Tahini instead of almond butter with the cardamom is awesome. I made it once yesterday and found it a little sweet for my liking (even though I have a serious sweet problem), and might suggest cutting back a date unless it’s your evening dessert or your dates are on the small side.
