    This time of year has us excited about smoothies all over again! We’re ready to throw a straw in anything bright, fresh and green – and food bloggess Madeline Lu has us rediscovering all the incredible recipes within Pressed Juicery’s juicing book, Juice: Recipes for Juicing, Cleansing, and Living Well.

    We’re following Madeline’s lead and whipping up a big batch of Juice‘s delicious mint mango smoothies to brighten our moods and get in on a powerful dose of whole nutrition. Grab the recipe below and rethink your perception of the traditional green smoothie entirely…

    Mint Mango Smoothie
    Serves 1

    Ingredients:

    1 mango, peeled and cubed
    1 cup of coconut water
    1 cup of baby spinach leaves
    1 small head romaine lettuce
    1 small bunch of fresh peppermint
    5 sprigs of fresh parsley

    Directions:

    Blend all ingredients in high-speed blender. If you prefer your smoothies cold, either freeze the mango in advance or add a little ice to the blender.
