Apple Shake With Peanut Butter And Banana

It is no secret that apples are a healthy smart addition to your daily meal plan. Well, instead of crunching the old fashioned way, why not  try a whole apple blended up into a delicious whole food smoothie? This sweet shake recipe includes one hearty whole apple, creamy peanut butter, banana and a few extras blended into each sip. This healthy dairy-free shake tastes sweet like apple pie with a hint cinnamon, while that calm banana and rich peanut butter compliment the perkiness from the apple.

Apple Peanut Butter Banana Shake

vegan, serves 1-2

  • 1 medium organic fuji apple, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup vanilla soy milk
  • 1 tsp ground flax seeds
  • 2 tsp creamy peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 frozen bananas
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup ice

Blend in a high speed blender and serve!
