Brand new and long-awaited, The Spa by Joanna Vargas is nestled within Hollywood ‘s iconic Sunset Tower Hotel – a location we’re more than happy to cross the city for.
Starting as a facialist at one of New York City’s first organic spas, Joanna has developed a devoted following over the years, including an impressive line-up of A-list clientele from Julianne Moore and Charlize Theron to Emma Roberts and Karlie Kloss.
Vargas’ new space is an impossibly stylish hideaway for her West Coast devotees (Elizabeth Moss popped in just before the Oscars this year!). The perfect hint of pink paint lines every room, along with vintage furniture, gold accents, fresh plants and other modern, lady-like details we love.
Joanna uses plant-based ingredients and a passion for science to master the art of beautiful skin, both in her studios and with the namesake products we stay stocked-up on. Her sessions use a combination of technologies and proven techniques including microcurrent, microdermabrasion, oxygen infusions, and LED light therapy to deliver immediate results.

We stopped by The Spa to bliss out in the space and try one of Joanna’s signature facials, The Triple Crown.
