TCM Review: Kate Somerville’s Micro Glycolic Polisher

Product name: Kate Somerville’s Micro Glycolic Polisher

Price: $55

Packaging: The whole Kate Somerville line is beautifully packaged and this polisher is no different. It’s always a treat to bring a Kate Somerville product home

The application: Apply a few pumps of this gel—bonus points for no offensive smell and for it not being too sticky—onto a cotton pad and swipe it on clean, dry skin. Just leave for 2 to 5 minutes (I have sensitive skin so I opted for 3 minutes) and then wash it off with warm water.

The results: The directions say to use once a week during the PM, but I happened to use it in the morning (and on the day of a date no less) but I found it only made my sensitive skin a little reddish and then I actually felt particularly glow-y a few hours later.

After a few days I felt my skin was softer, smoother, and all together healthier. Score!

Final grade: B+
