Raw ​Energy Bites with Collagen
Yields about 12 balls

Ingredients:

1/2 cup hemp seeds
1/2 cup collagen protein (or preferred protein powder of choice)
1 cup almond or cashew butter
3/4 cup shredded coconut, plus extra for coating
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
3 Tbsp chia seeds
2 Tbsp date paste or 3­-4 dates, pitted
1 Tbsp cacao nibs, optional

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.

Use a tablespoon, scoop 1 tablespoon at time from batter and form into balls. Coat with remaining coconut shreds.

Refrigerate or freeze for up to 3 months.

  1. Hi 🙂 I have a question – as far as I read I shouldn`t combine oats with nut butter,should I? I wanted to make a flapjack with oats, coconut oil and nut butter…but I guess is wrong?

  5. Super yummy! I just made them with Great Lakes collagen powder, 1/2 cup sunbutter and 1/2 cup peanut butter (all I had in the fridge), and 1 tbsp cacao powder instead of nibs, then rolled them in cacao powder. My husband couldn’t stop eating them. Thanks for the great recipe!

  6. This is the only ingredient I would rather not use ..I am 100% vegan … what can be used in place of this ??
