Our love for all things Free People is quite clear. We can’t get enough of the hippy chic vibes and the creativity overflow.  This Friday, before you abandon the office for the weekend, immerse yourself in this dreamy space–the Free People HQ. We’ve asked their team of designers and lady bosses to share with us about what’s going on behind these four pretty walls. Find out what these boho mavens are listening to, wearing, obsessing over and noshing at their desks. Hint, it’s the same stuff we’re munching on over here in our L.A. offices! Check out what it’s like to live that TGIF life for a day inside the Free People office…

We're always eating:

Lots of warming overnight oats topped with seasonal fruit for these cold winter months. Excited to get back to smoothie bowls as the weather (hopefully?) warms.

We're always listening to:

We can never get enough Tame Impala, Warpaint, Kurt Vile, and Sylvan Esso, but for the full breakdown check us out on Spotify!

We're always wearing:

Vintage, worn in denim, Vans and Chuck Taylors… anything we can move in and shows off our personalities. Extra points if it’s adventure-ready, you never know when the beach will call.

Always on our inspo boards:

Desert scenes, tropical destinations, mountaintops and forests… we’re always dreaming of the next road trip!

Guilty afternoon pleasures:

The 3 o’clock special from our in-house coffee bar… did someone say coffee + biscotti?

Favorite nearby hangout:

You can usually find us up in Fishtown – checking out a new restaurant, taking in the latest band that’s rolled through Philly, or digging through the vintage warehouse for treasures.

Most frequent office visitor:

Always excited when a new pup joins the fleet of office dogs here at BLDG 25. Um… have you met Frankie?

Candle always burning or etc:

Nag Champa, all day everyday.

Our team's current mantra:

Is it festival season yet?

  1. I’m a bit disappointed to see Free People featured on here. When it comes to living well, this brand is definitely not the first one that comes to mind. Poor business practices 🙁

    • So what does?

      • If you’re interested in reading more about Urban Outfitters (and its subsidiaries), GoodGuide and Project JUST offer detailed reviews. But if you just want boho brand recommendations, check out Mata Traders, AIRR, Nomads, Boho City, etc.

    • I agree. The Urban Outfitters conglomerate has a reputation for unsavory ethical practices.

  2. Maybe Free People is turning over a new leaf because I like that they now carry some all natural small batch-made beauty products.
