Great local florists are hard to come by and while we have a few LA faves, Fiore Designs wins our hearts with its sweet, old-fashioned shop built into a little house smack in the middle of Abbot Kinney. A rush of garden-fresh flowers fill the shop and beckon shoppers in from the street. Their floral arrangements aren't subject to any pre-planned corporate structure and the owners create arrangements custom from among the exotic offerings right there in the shop.

We've even had Fiore create the most lovely flower crowns for bachelorette parties – a slightly more elegant take on bachelorette headgear than the norm. What bride-to-be doesn't prefer a crown of fresh freesia to a plastic tiara – or worse?
