Celebrity trainer and creator of the unique boutique fitness studio, AKT InMotion, Anna Kaiser, is in town prepping top Hollywood bods for The Oscars – and you can get in on it!

Anna is the kind of high-energy, inventive trainer we love and can normally be found in NYC sculpting the bodies of clients from Kelly Ripa to Sophia Vergara, Naomi Watts to Emmy Rossum. Anna is bringing her life-changing workout to LA this week as the city preps for the red carpet – or not.

Favorite class to take:

Sweat Dream. It’s the best way to wake up and focus in the morning with my crew. This circuit-training interval class will create lasting changes in your body through fun, innovative, and functional movement.

My specialty:

My specialty is making you wonder what you’ve been doing to workout all this time before AKT.

Favorite class to teach:

Progressive Happy Hour. This is an advanced, dance-based interval training class that pairs choreographed combinations of cardio, flexibility, and strength training. Each class is set to pumping music for a comprehensive workout that keeps the body toned and energized.

Moment I fell in love with fitness:

When I taught my first dance cardio class in 1996, so many people were inspired by my passion. Instead of trying to pull me back into the “ensemble” to match those around me, which so often happened when I was cast in professional shows, I was able to express myself fully to motivate those in the room and go beyond what I thought I was capable of. I was able to break “out of the box” and bring a new energy and light to my classes that I had never experienced before. Euphoria.

AKT gloves, AKT hat, Daniela Corte shorts and a shirt I customized.

Favorite workout move:

Swipe It (one of my signature moves– you’ll find it in almost every class)! Or a jack knife with a twist.

Biggest inspiration:

Kelly Ripa. She inspires me every day. A true renaissance woman that is wittier and stronger than anyone I’ve ever met.

When I'm not in the studio, I'm:

Usually flying – last year I flew 140,000 miles.

Favorite post-workout fuel:

Mexican spicy salmon and roasted brussels sprouts.

Favorite way to hydrate:

Essentia alkaline water. It’s changed my life.

Fave quick workout outside the studio:

AKTread. This is the best workout to travel with! It’s interval training all on a treadmill with a creative twist – no running or walking!

Latest healthy obsession:

Sprouted pumpkin seeds and bone broth! Yum!

Current mantra:

I didn’t say it was going to be easy. I said it was going to be worth it.
