Living well with: Dr Christy Garner

We caught up with holistic chiropractor Dr. Christy Garner over green juice in her kitchen – the place where all the magic happens. Complete with a full line of tinctures, jars filled with rare tonic herbs, and fresh-picked produce from her garden, her kitchen could be where health enthusiasts die and go to heaven. Christy has managed to create a haven amidst the busy Los Angeles city noise, where the sounds of chanting monks ring in the background, and gemstones and Buddhist sculptures adorn every corner and niche.

This depends on what my body needs, but I always take Premier Research Labs Daily One, chlorella, DHA, AdrenaVen, NZ Red (deer antler) and 22 Reishi, Albissia, Reishi Spore Oil, and Shaolin Inner Power eeTee.

Yoga and meditation.

Daily breakfast:

Superfood smoothie (I make mine chocolate, strawberry or pineapple coconut).

Serves 1

Ingredients:

2 heads of romaine lettuce
3 stalks of kale
2 lemons
1 apple
small piece of ginger

Directions:

Run all ingredients through a juicer and enjoy!
