    Tatcha Evening Aburatorigami Blotting Papers

Toting along a compact can certainly be a glamorous way to check on your lipstick, but applying layer after layer of hours-old powder is certainly a hot-date no-go. We love these hand-made Japanese blotting papers from Tatcha. Gold-flecked and completely adorable, you may be tempted to fold these sweet little sheets into origami party tricks during cocktail hour. Charming, but we advise you to save them for their intended purpose. The idea of blotting paper may be super-simple, but don't knock them til you try them! If you're a powder-prone woman, we suggest at least using a blotting paper before reapplication.

In The Bag: 10 Valentine’s Day Beauty Must-Haves

Pack your bag (we love this siren red tote from Clare Vivier) with a few of our all-natural date night must-haves and make this Valentine’s Day a night to remember. It’s one thing to buy yourself a brand new bottle of organic body oil or to switch to a sulfate-free shampoo, but when it comes to date night making all-natural choices can be a little more tricky. It’s hard to pass on those old-school beauty stand-bys we’ve come to rely on when something as crucial as that one hot date is at stake. We think we’ve found a few beauty all-stars that will help to make the transition from tote-full-of-toxins to mostly-immaculate-minaudiere simple as can be.

    1. Thanks for these ideas! I am always looking for nontoxic cosmetics, and I will be making some purchases from these companies. Happy Valentine’s Day <3
