Having a baby is pretty cool. But, historically speaking, most maternity clothes don’t match up. Then HATCH came along with their stylish capsule wardrobe of pieces we wanted to wear – baby bump or no – and everything changed.
Since their launch in 2011, HATCH has changed the way women think about fashion while pregnant. The brand has since become a lifestyle brand for women before, during and after their pregnancy, including a robust programming menu at their retail locations.Their first brick and mortar outside of NYC is just opening here in LA near the Brentwood Country Mart, and we’re loving every inch.
Designed by Hilary Koyfman and Caitlin Levin (the same designers of HATCH’s NYC flagship), the airy new space will house offer HATCH’s signature chic maternity clothing, natural beauty products (guys, there’s a belly sheet mask!) as well as a community gathering place. They’re hosting workshops all month long including author chats, new mama yoga classes, doula talks, and postpartum wellness workshops.
HATCH founder, Ariane Goldman, a mama of two and former Wall Street exec created HATCH when she was pregnant with her first daughter. “I was craving a sense of community that didn’t exists,” she says on her blog. “and I was craving clothing that didn’t make me feel like a tent”
We love HATCH’s mission to make women feel celebrated, respected, beautiful and seen, no matter their stage of life. We welcome the new space designed to support new mamas on every level — from clothing to community.
