Mocktails

Cocktail menus at some of our favorite restaurants these days are as complex as ever. We love trying wild new flavors and there’s no reason not to translate all that fun into mocktails too. We’re stocking up on this strange sea buckthorn berry puree to make this beautifying mocktail courtesy Kerrilynn Pamer of CAP Beauty. Sea buckthron contains a full range of omegas, protein-building amino acids, folic acid, antioxidants and a variety of vitamins and minerals. Get your fix of glow-inducing ingredients with the easy yet elegant recipes below…

With high summer here, we’re looking for the most delicious and healthy ways to quell the heat. We turn to sea buckthorn and hibiscus to cool us down from the inside out. Sea buckthorn is loaded with omega 7, often referred to as the beauty omega, as it nourishes the cells deeply and helps to reduce inflammation. It also tastes great, is super tart, and lends itself to a drink that soothes our thirst – a great stand-in for a classic cocktail or mocktail ingredient.

Our other summer star ingredient, hibiscus, is light and refreshing and has a place in our fridge all summer long. Enjoy in high health and stay cool for the rest of the month.
