There are so many inspiring bloggers out there, we are constantly amazed. That said, there are a few stunners that stand out from the pack and, for us, one of those stand-outs is Sarah Yates. Sarah, her fantastically skilled plus-one Lou (who shot the photos featured), and their two irresistible pups make up the team behind A House In The Hills. From their (mostly marcobiotic) recipes to their sweetly styled, ever-evolving home, Sarah and Lou provide a lovely and addictive stream of snapshots inside the beautiful life they are creating together. Oh, and did we mention the fashion? Sarah’s taste and Lou’s lens are a blog loving dream! We found Sarah at home in the hills one morning with this delish breakfast and in this perfect print.
MY ALARM IS SET FOR…
I rarely set an alarm. I’m an early bird by nature, so my eyes usually pop open somewhere between 6 and 7 a.m.

Peek over the side of my bed to see where my pups are sleeping, then invite them up for morning cudddles.

A glass of warm water with fresh-squeezed lemon. It makes me feel like I’m starting the day on the right foot.
BREAKFAST IS NORMALLY…
I go through phases where I eat the same thing every day until I’m completely burned out. Lately, I’m loving maple granola with fresh berries and almond milk.
FAVORITE MORNING BEVERAGE…
Ginger tea with honey and lemon.

Dog walking, chats with my husband, emails and blogging.

Lately, I live in jean shorts with tank tops, fun sandals and a Panama hat.
