Dear Chalkboard Readers,
I am so excited to be your guest editor for the month of April. I’ve known the founders of Pressed Juicery and The Chalkboard since I was in high school and I’m honored to spend the next few weeks guest editing what has quickly become one of my favorite websites.
Before we get started, I want to tell you a little bit about me and what I do: I’m the co-owner and creative director of Taylor De Cordoba, a contemporary art gallery in Culver City and the blogger behind LA In Bloom. In addition, I recently launched Heather Taylor Home, a collection of table linens and home goods. Juggling everything can be tricky but all of my projects are about sharing positive, beautiful experiences and I find the challenge rather exciting.
Even amidst the day-to-day craziness, I’m committed to cultivating balance by staying healthy and seeking out small pleasures at every turn. Most importantly, I’m always looking for the cozy in life and I hope I can bring that to you. For the next month I look forward to covering some of my favorite healthy recipes, easy tricks for entertaining and the best business advice from my inspiring friends and mentors.
