Celeb makeup artist Wendy Rowe has a beauty credo and it’s this simple: nourish from within, but don’t fear a little glitter to get your glow. We were impressed with Rowe’s wellnessy responses to our Green Goddess Guide series below — collagen drinks and nighttime routines included.

It’s no wonder the talented makeup artist has devoted fans like actress, Sienna Miller, who wrote the forward to Wendy’s book, Eat Beautiful. Eat Beautiful is packed with skin-loving lifestyle advice and glow-inducing recipes, things Wendy has picked up from a long career with some of the top names in the beauty business. From her go-to spot treatment and fave face oil, to a skin-boosting homemade juice, we’re exploring advice from an international beauty expert we love…

Most treasured beauty tip…

Keep your skin really clean and remember to change up your skincare and diet depending on where you are – the seasons and weather conditions pose different dietary and skincare requirements.

For glowing skin…

Decleor’s Aromessence Neroli Serum oil.

For ultra-glamorous effect:

Sparkles and glitter.

Always in my evening clutch:

Linda Rodin lip balm (it’s totally natural, containing jasmine and orange flower oil, shea butter, beeswax and castor oil).

Weirdest beauty habit:

Sarah Chapman’s spot stickers – they really work! It’s a little transparent sticker that helps to heal spots fast.

Obsession of the moment:

Viviscal Hair and Scalp supplement

Can’t travel without…

A moisturizer! It’s a must-have for me.

Beautifying meal:

Kale soup from my book, Eat Beautiful – it’s amazing (TCM is sharing soon!).

Beautifying drink:

Skinade, it’s a skin drink that contains a natural form of collagen sourced from freshwater fish. You can take it as a supplement to give skin a youthful boost.

Beauty tool:

Shu Uemura eyelash curlers.

In the shower I keep…

The wet brush – I can’t live without it.

On my bedside table…

Space clearance spray “home and matter,” by Holly Star.

Once a month I…

Light therapy treatment at Sarah Chapman.

After a long-night or rough weekend…

Workout – it’s the best cure.

On little sleep I rely on…

Product that changed my skin…

It’d have to be a mixture of great skincare: Decleor’s aromessence neroli serum oil is amazing, combined with regular exercise and a balanced diet containing lots of fresh, seasonal vegetables.

My go-to DIY recipe:

A skin-boosting vegetable juice made from scratch using beetroot, celery, spinach, turmeric, aloe vera, ginger, lemon and cucumber.
