Pressed Juicery’s Apple Lemon Ginger juice adds the bright zing needed to sweeten up this otherwise mellow breakfast porridge.   • Sweet Potato Porridge with Apple Lemon Ginger, Serves 2 people

  • Ingredients:

    1 orange yam (peel & cut into large pieces)
    1 white sweet potato (peel & cut into large pieces)
    2 cups almond milk
    1 cup Pressed Juicery apple lemon ginger juice
    ¼ cup agave syrup
    1 orange (peel and segment, save the rest)
    pinch of salt

  • Instructions:
    • In a sauce pot, place the sweet potato, almond milk and squeezed remaining juice from segmented orange.
    • Let it come to a boil and then bring to low simmer until sweet potatoes are completely soft. Turn of heat and add Pressed Juicery apple lemon ginger juice, agave and pinch of salt.
    • Let it cool for a couple of minutes, then place content into a blender and pulse until smooth.
    • Pour into bowl and garnish with segmented oranges and a bit more of the agave syrup.
    • Enjoy hot or cold!
