Juicing at home can be intimidating, especially for a newbie. Never fear, Kris Carr is here! And she wants nothing to get between you and your green juice.

A one of our fave TCM Guest Editors past, Kris is no stranger to juicing. For those of you who feel a little less familiar, may we encourage you – as with any skill set, everyone has to start somewhere! This video from Kris is just one more resource we’re sharing with you to help get those greens in your belly!  The recipe in this video is simple enough for beginners, but nutrient-packed enough for even the most well-versed juicing aficionados. Drink up! Here’s Kris…

Hi sweet friends,

I haven’t been able to stop talking or writing about green juice since my first sip. What can I say? That green nectar feels like pure, invigorating oxygen shooting to every corner of my being. Today, juicing is as much a part of my life as brushing my teeth, but it wasn’t always second nature. I’m reminded of my early juicing adventures each time I receive a question from a reader who wants to juice, but just can’t seem to get the hang of it or is too intimidated to even try. People think they have to do it perfectly, but the bottom line is you can’t mess it up!

Kris and team are also offering a fun summer special on the Crazy Sexy Juices & Succulent Smoothies digital e-guide right now at Crazy Sexy. Watch it, drink it, get the e-guide and spice up or revive your love affair with juicing!

  1. Hi,
I have insuline resistance, and I would like to know if I have to pair mi green juice with some solid food. I know that Kris mention that vegetables will not spike your blood but still I am new to juicing 🙂 … Thank you!

    • Hi Alma, you can drink green juice alone or as part of a larger meal. We prefer our juice alone, but are supportive of all lifestyles and decisions. We are just thrilled you are wanting to add green juice into your life. Short answer: your choice!

  3. what juicer do you recommend for people new to juicing? There are so many options out there!

    • Florence, here at Pressed Juicery we use giant hydraulic presses. For the home, we recommend the norwalk or hurom juicers – both are great!
