kora organics miranda kerr

Miranda Kerr is a model, a green beauty entrepreneur and new mama (again!). In spite of a non-stop schedule, she manages to maintain a glow that defies all expectation. As we learned in this beauty interview, half of this beauty’s glow has to do with her very own KORA Organics regimen (her Noni Radiant Eye Oil is no joke) and the rest to do with yoga, goat’s milk, crystals and plenty of meditation. In other words, she’s a wellness devotee to the core.

Miranda’s best philosophies and routines are aspirational, sure, but they’re also totally relatable. Miranda is dishing on everything involved in her wellness routine from her workout uniform to her daily food philosophy below. Check out her obsession with turmeric, matcha and noni — and find the flexible rules she follows to ‘live well’ in her own way below…

My regular workout is...

A mix of Kundilini yoga, Pilates, swimming and walking! Because I’m postpartum I’m doing gentle exercise at the moment and about 3 – 4 times a week.

My workout uniform is...

Black leggings, t-shirt and trainers.

My fitness spirit animal:

Hmmm, maybe a turtle… slow and steady.

When I want to turn it up a notch, I do this:

Put my favourite playlist on and dance around the house.

Are you keto, vegan or flexitarian?

I follow the 80/20 rule, I eat healthy whole produce 80% of the time and allow myself to treats 20% of the time. This approach helps me to find balance in my diet.

Fave post-fitness snack:

I add my KORA Organics Noni Glow Skinfood Supplement to water and shake for a delicious and nutritious post work-out drink. It contains Noni Extract and also many of my other favorite plant foods for healthy skin and general well-being such as: acai, blueberry, mangosteen, pomegranate, matcha green tea, rosehip, chlorella and elderberry flower.

Go-to beauty foods:

Avocados! I eat about 1 a day. They are full of nutrients and are a wonderful source of fatty acids, including omega-6. And turmeric, I use a lot of turmeric in my cooking and fresh juices because of the health benefits – I also just launched a Turmeric Brightening & Exfoliating Mask because of the many beauty benefits attributed to turmeric… it reduces inflammation, reduces any redness in the skin, and helps soften the appearance of discoloration, pigmentation and sun damage.

The first food or product that changed my skin:

My own! I created my own skincare line KORA Organics purely because there was a lack of certified organic skincare products on the market that where active and delivered results. I started with a few products, perfected them and slowly expanded the line. They are high performance products without any nasty chemicals or toxins. The must have product is the Noni Glow Face Oil, it can be applied morning and night before your moisturizer or combined with your moisturizer. It’s a super nourishing treatment oil that is great for all skin types and especially good for sensitive skin. It contains certified organic noni extract, rosehip oil, pomegranate oil and sea buckthorn Oil to create a rich source of antioxidants and essential fatty acids to smooth, nourish, hydrate and brighten your skin.

Classic beauty tip that never fails:

Less is best! Don’t camouflage your natural beauty with layers of make-up, instead focus on achieving healthy, radiant skin both through your diet and skincare. I believe that the health of our skin is connected to our mind and body – for example when we are stressed or tired, or eating unhealthily it shows on our skin. We try to encourage our customers to look after and nurture their mind and body, as well as their skin for best results. Our brand philosophy is to “feed your mind, with positive affirmations and self-love”; “feed your body with the nutrients it needs to function at its best”; and “feed your skin with products to help detoxify, nourish and revitalize”.

Weird beauty tip that actually works:

If I want extra glow, I give myself an instant facial at home with our new Turmeric Brightening & Exfoliating Mask. I’m obsessed with it! I let the mask set for 10 – 15 minutes and let the active ingredients work their magic, then I gently buff off so you get the benefits of the mechanical exfoliation of the quartz as well as the enzymatic exfoliation of the papaya and aspen bark – which is a natural and very gentle salicylate acid. I follow the mask with the Noni Glow Face Oil, Noni Radiant Eye Oil and my Hydrating Cream.

My favorite beauty splurge:

Deep tissue massages!
