LA’s Healthy Hot Spots with Amanda de Cadenet

Just the thought of macrobiotic Japanese food located in the heart of Los Angeles makes me wish it was lunchtime already. Brown rice, organic whole soybeans, and fresh fish create decadent-feeling meals sans animal fat, egg, dairy and refined sugar. My personal favorite order? Fish soups – fresh chunks of salmon and sea bass in a light vegetable broth, with a refreshing ginger tea on the side.

  2. I love your choices of restaurants. I recently ate at Real Foods Daily in West Hollywood. Besides not being too far from Book Soup where I spent a blissful two hours, the staff is amazing, it’s vegan and organic, and way above average tasty. And they have fresh squeezed juice of course. They have a few locations if one prefers a different area. I found parking for this one on a side street easy. Great for a quick bite before a show at one of the nearby clubs, but certainly mellow and kid friendly. Your choices and esthetic for eating is right up my alley. And Capital Drugs is a great tip for a traveler to the area. P.S. I love you. True. And you are getting MORE beautiful, also true! Be well.
