Cool off with a Coconut Water Frosty! One of my favorite sips from Pressed Juicery is the coconut H2O. Rich in potassium and other nutrients, coconut water is my go-to beverage to help me stay hydrated. It tastes soft, mildly sweet and oh-so-dreamy. And when I’m in the mood for a frosty coconut water-infused sip, I blend up an easy Coconut Water Frosty. This basic recipe is easy to customize based on the fresh and frozen fruit you have on hand. Try all sorts of colorful flavors including banana, blueberry, strawberry, pineapple, citrus and more. You can even add in a handful of greens for a green smoothie coconut frosty! Here are two of my fave recipes:
Blueberry Coconut Water Frosty
Vegan, serves 2
- 11 ounces coconut water, chilled
- 1/2 cup ice (I like to use coconut H2O ice cubes)
- 3/4 cup frozen wild organic blueberries
- 2 tsp lemon or lime juice
- 1 tsp agave syrup
- dash of cayenne
Makes one tall glass
- 11 ounces coconut water
- 1/3 cup frozen peaches
- 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup ice (coconut H2O ice cubes)
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
Tip: for an extra creamy (not as frosty) coconut water frosty, add in 1/2 frozen banana. For more frosty, add in more ice.
Blend. Pour. Serve!
