FIVE GIRLS RAW: Love is a Choice…

… and Deanna should have totally chosen Jeremy in the fifth season of The Bachelorette. Not even a question. But, sometimes love makes you do silly things. Silly as in picking a skateboarder boy-man over a wonderful guy that would jump in front of traffic to be with you forever. Silly as in blogging about an episode of TV that happened four seasons ago. See? Silly.

Shakespeare was once credited as saying that love that changes isn’t love at all (see: Sonnet 116). Well, William, I would like to respectfully object. I have a deep, abiding love for food, and lately that love has been changing… in the best, healthiest way possible.

    Past flames:

    Chik-fil-A Sweet Tea

Broccoli Cheddar Soup in a Sourdough Bread Bowl

    Tortilla chips

Flour noodle pasta in a “blush” sauce – half Alfredo, half Bolognese

    Ranch Dressing

    Cheez-Its and Goldfish

    Hamburger meat

Chocolate chip cookies w/ 2% dairy milk

    Iced Tea (no lemon)

    Current Infatuations:

    Coconut Water

Bell peppers – yellow and orange ones particularly. Red is good too.

    Flax seed crackers

Zucchini noodles in sun-dried tomato marinara sauce

    Pesto (of the raw variety)

    Avocado

    Walnut meat

Raspberries with raw chocolate (Yes, there is such a thing. Such a wonderful, wonderful thing.)

    Carrots

    Everlasting Loves:

    Sprouts

    Celery

    Fresh, natural apple juice

    Almonds and almond milk

    Zucchini

    Garlic

    Strawberries

I’ve always been a foodie. I’m not sure what romances I am going to rekindle once this raw vegan diet is over… but I guess this diet is turning me into a natural woman.

    Thanks for reading. – Jenna
