We recently caught up with designer Carly Cushnie in celebration of her new collaborative jewelry collection with Starling, a thoughtful and ethically-sourced jeweler here in LA that we adore.
As former devotees of Carly’s namesake fashion brand, Cushnie, which sadly closed shop during the pandemic, we’re paying special attention to everything the stylish creative undertakes lately. Carly’s effortlessly chic take on what modern women want to wear has been enjoyed by the likes of Beyoncé, Michelle Obama, Rihanna, and Blake Lively, and has inspired countless women to pull off a bit of glamour in her (surprisingly) comfortable looks.
Here’s everything Carly is wearing lately, how she takes her very TCM-approved coffee, and more about the new jewelry collection…

I have some other exciting upcoming projects that I can’t share just yet, but lots of things are bubbling!
