ceramics

We have a crush on cups… at least on these gorgeous ones by English artist, Romy Northover. Romy’s delicate ceramics boast an edgy take on the the minimalist aesthetic we love, and her creations qualify as functional art: we’re filling them with these delicious tonic recipes by Kerrilynn Pamer of NYC’s green beauty paradise, CAP Beauty

We’re making the most of our new ceramics infatuation with a potion or tonic for morning, noon and night: a creamy matcha latte, energy boosting herbal brew and light turmeric tea that will put you right at ease. Here’s Kerrilynn…

British-born Romy Northover is a CAP Beauty girl through and through. Not only is she wholly devoted to her wellness practices (maybe you’ve spotted her at The Class or in a Kundalini Kriya), she is a true artist and produces the ceramics of choice for our tonic and tea habits. “Ancient Future” is how she describes her work and while she references history, her vessels are thoroughly modern. Its no surprise we love them for our daily tea drinking rituals. Past meets future for a perfect present.

Here are a few of the tonic drinks we enjoy from our Romy Northover cups and bowls, ancient wisdom for our modern lives.
