After watching the Heirloom LA team make our vegetarian meal, our Fourth of July gathering moved outside to pour Pressed Juicery sangria and enjoy all the dishes. Paige, Kelly and Jenni had set a long picnic table with modern Americana touches and MQuan’s cool ceramic bells swayed in the breeze. Just the vibe we’re looking for for the Fourth. The Inspiration
Vintage meets modern picnic with a thread of Americana woven throughout.
The Tables
Picnic tables were used to created a relaxed communal vibe, perfect for breaking bread and exchanging stories. The enamelware plates were reminiscent of childhood camping adventures.
The Florals
Florals were inspired by native plants and flowers from the Southern California coastline, designed by Holly Flora – arrangements of White Bearded Iris, white sweet peas, green dogwood, coastal grasses.
The Finishing Touches
We added in some more Americana with pottery. A blue and white salt and pepper vessel from Koromiko and porcelain thrown bells from Jenni’s store for a festive touch.
