Wabi Sabi | Upbeat and eclectic, this innovative sushi spot is a perfect pairing for Venice’s ever-hip Abbot Kinney Boulevard. The orb-encased chandeliers, hanging planters, and moody, floral wallpaper provides a gorgeous juxtaposition to the modern California style sushi. LEARN MORE

Winsome | This Echo Park eatery had us at “plant-heavy menu” but the real star of the hip pseudo-diner is the decor. Midcentury-modern bar stools, gloriously green fiddle leaf fig trees and, our favorite detail, a hand painted wall mural inspired by Phil Dike’s 1938 watercolor “Sunshine in Echo Park”. LEARN MORE

Indochine | Exotic leafy wallpaper makes perfect sense in this NYC restaurant of 80s-era fame, known for it’s equally exotic French-Vietnamese fare. It may be helmed as a “timeless” NOHO classic, but the vibrant, Insta-thirsty wall situation is feeling v contemporary of late. LEARN MORE
