    Valentina’s Vegetable Smoothie

    Ralph Lauren model Valentina Zelyaeva is passionate about eating and living a healthy lifestyle. In NYC, you might find her picking up flowers at the farmer’s market or shopping for holistic bodycare products in a natural market. In between photo shoots and world traveling, Valentina takes time to prepare healthy meals, smoothies and juices. She has found what a positive impact live fruits and vegetables have played on her ability to look and feel her best.  We love this homemade juice recipe that Val recently shared with us!

    Valentina: “I’m super excited to share this juice recipe! It is something very different from anything you have tried before. It is a juice, but tastes more like a gazpacho vegetable soup. Yum! Perfect for a hot summer day or just as a snack in the afternoon!”

    Veggie Smoothie

    Ingredients

    • 3 large tomatoes
    • 2 carrots
    • 1 small peeled cucumber (usually I do not peel my cucumbers, but for this recipe, I prefer to peel it in order to keep pretty red color of the final product)
    • 1/2 peeled lemon
    • 2 red or yellow bell peppers
    • 3 stalks of celery
    • 1 clove of garlic

    Directions

    1. Run thru a juicer all the ingredients. Ready!

    1. Is thuis possible with a blender? As a smoothie? Or is that less healthy?

      • hi, Pauline! yes, you can totally blend it together in a blender. If you are going to use a blender add an Avocado! it makes it creamy and super yumm! xx
