Are CBD Brownies The Ultimate Late Night Snack?

Pot brownies? More like haute brownies. If you’re on a CBD kick – like the rest of us – you’ll flip for this sweet collab from two of our fave wellness brands: vegan resto mini-empire By CHLOE and NYC’s clean green beauty haven, CAP Beauty.

The duo joined forces to create the ultimate plant-based chocolate treat using CAP’s adaptogenic CBD oil, The Daily Hit — and we’re sharing the exclusive (non-intoxicating) recipe for these CBD brownies below!

Our fave Right Coast-dwelling food writer, Kat Odell tried the brownies firsthand and reports back..

What I Ate: By Chloe x CAP Beauty’s cannabis-laced CBD brownies.

Why I Ate It: I am fascinated with CBD – which is the nickname for cannabidiol, the non-psychoactive compound in cannabis that won’t get you high, as compared to THC, which will. Right now, modern medicine is increasingly dedicating resources to studying the positive wellness impact that CBD and other compounds within cannabis have on humans, which is extremely exciting, since the plant is linked to an ever-growing laundry list of health benefits.

Why You Need it: Because not only is this guilt-free brownie devoid of animal ingredients, it likewise will help curb anxiety and mellow you out, thanks to a dose of CBD.

  3. Great idea! I wish I would be a baker or interested cook – so far I rather devour books… but I would love to get my hands on one of them. Just to try! Great that you promote CBD oil – as I think there is so much misuse of ‘pain killers’ in our time. On a trip to Peru my at the time 78 year old mother climbed the Machu Pichu whilst chewing coca leaves as the locals do. She said she never felt better in her life (she has been on pain killers for heavy migraines) and she did not even get a migraine for 3 months after she returned. The leaves themselves again are like Canabis leaves totally healthy. Thanks so much for the inspiration.
