Healthy Green Smoothie - Smoothie Sweetened With Stevia

Nothing feels as good as a power-packed green juice or shake. And whether it’s having the in on Pressed Juicery’s own killer juices or dialing down on our new favorite smoothie recipe, we’re always looking for the best ways to make the green shakes taste as good as they feel!

One great staple to keep on hand for perfect smoothies is liquid stevia. With our own love for the stuff, we asked one of our favorite food bloggers Juli Novotny of Pure Mamas to work up a few options using Sweet Leaf stevia drops. The completely natural liquid sweetener comes in all these insane flavors making for endless possibilities. With Juli’s penchant for all things kid-friendly, we knew that whatever she whipped up would be perfect for those with the less-than-green palettes too!

  • Juli's Sweet Leaf Smoothies

  • Green Tangerine Smoothie
    makes 2 large drinks or 4 small kid-size
     
    1/2 frozen banana
    1 medium tangerine, peeled
    1.5 - 2 cups young coconut water 
    1.5 cup kale, chopped
    1/2 cup frozen pineapple
    8-10 drops Sweet Leaf tangerine stevia
     
    Mix all of the above in a high speed blender, like a Vitamix, until smooth.
  • Tropical Spice Green Smoothie

    makes 1-2 large drinks

    5- 6 chunks frozen pineapple
    1/2 cup cilantro
    1/3 cup parsley
    1/4 cucumber
    1 lemon, juiced
    1 inch chunk of ginger root 
    1/2 cup fresh orange juice
    10 drops of Sweet Leaf  liquid stevia
    1/2 grapefruit, peeled

    Mix all of the above in a high speed blender, like a Vitamix, until smooth. Enjoy the feeling of health that this drink will bring you!
