We’ve been obsessed with this small, gourmet raw food cafe in Byron Bay, Australia for a while now – from afar. God only knows how we stumbled upon them on Instagram, but we’ve been stalking Naked Treaties’ feed full of rainbow-colored raw shakes and smoothies (think liquid stacks of frozen superfoods mixed with local passion fruit and flowers) and dreaming up a life on the other side of the equator full of endless beaches and these raw almond “donuts”.

Naked Treaties’ Almond Donuts with Pink Coconut Frosting
ingredients:
For the base:
3 level cups of almonds
1/2 cup of raw peanut butter
3/4 cup soaked dates and 1/8 cup of soak water (or honey or coconut nectar)
1/3 cup of cacao powder
3/4 tsp Celtic sea salt
1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
For the pink icing:
1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk
1/4 cup raw honey (or coconut nectar)
1/4 cup melted cacao butter (on low heat)
1/2 cup of cashews, soaked
meat from 1 coconut
1 tsp beetroot juice
directions:
For the base:
Blend in the food processor until it forms a ‘dough.’ Roll into donut shapes.
For the icing:
Blend all ingredients together in a high-speed blender until smooth. Pour over donut bases.
