Snack Attack: Our Top 8 Grab-and-Go Protein Bars
Best All-Around: Quest Bar

Rare is the bar that has it all – high fiber, gluten-free, low glycemic, high protein - and still tastes good. Quest prides itself in using no junk ingredients while creating a product that actually tastes like the name on the label (our sweet-toothed editors are obsessed with the Cinnamon Roll and Chocolate Peanut Butter). With over 60% of your daily fiber intake, a whopping twenty grams of protein and 170 calories, it's a bar that will leave you full without wreaking havoc on your waistline. We don't know how they did it, but our friends at Quest have raised the bar – pun intended.

Snack Attack: Our Top 8 Grab-and-Go Protein Bars

At The Chalkboard, we advocate the notion of health in all its forms: vegan, raw, paleo, plant-based, gluten-free or even just the small yet mindful choice to replace your morning cup of joe with a big ol’ green juice. While a diet based in whole foods is always ideal, we do recognize that sometimes life gets in the way  – and we need to have sustainable nutrition on-hand when hunger strikes.

Most “health” bars are merely candy bars in disguise: a host of processed ingredients and way too many chemicals to ever be considered a significant source of nutrition. Therefore, we’ve rounded up the best all-natural bars on the market, from high fiber to nut-free, to help you make informed decisions on the go and keep your body working like a machine!

  1. I switched over to Rine Bars. For those who are looking for a healthy snacking option and great taste Rine is worth a try. You can even crumble the bars in milk or yoghurt as a breakfast.
