With the Fourth of July just behind us, we’re in the mood to celebrate the American brands we love. And Detroit-based Shinola makes exactly the kind of U.S.-manufactured goods that really turn us on. There’s something about a well-crafted, American-made bicycle, watch or leather object that feels super-2015…and super turn-of-the-century at the same time. In other words, timeless.
Shinola has opened the doors to it’s first L.A. boutique this summer in the Silver Lake neighborhood. We’re happy to see the shop filled with all the classically gorgeous supplies we’ve come to know them for, plus a rainbow of Pressed Juicery bottles lined up in the fridge behind the counter – an East Coast/West Coast match made in heaven.
