Um, maybe – but even if you’re scrambling at the eleventh hour to make sure everyone has their traditional must-haves, this super-simple DIY from Kitchen Mouse will be the crowning glory of your holiday entertaining success.

Last week we joined Jenni Kayne and her dear friend Kimberly Muller for a cozy afternoon gathering with homegrown vegan caterers, Kitchen Mouse, for an afternoon of traditional November foods, gorgeous flowers by the host herself and this sweet and useful DIY. Kitchen Mouse’s claim to fame is a flair for remaking classic foods in fine, vegan, gluten and sugar-free form – a major food feat to be sure.

Jenni, Kimberly and Kitchen Mouse packaged these beauty salves up in small glass jars capped in silk, decorated with fresh wax flowers and labelled with a custom note for each guest.
