The 12 Top-Rated Natural Skincare Products At Sephora

The people have spoken. These are the top-rate natural skincare products – from masksto moisturizers and serums at beauty superstore, Sephora. The ratings don’t lie: each of these twelve picks earns an elusive 4+ star rating and tens of thousands of ‘loves’ on the site.

Commercial beauty products are notoriously laden with chemicals, which is why we think building awareness about them is so important. As massive retailers tend to lean towards the latest – not the greatest, at least by our standards – we were pleasantly shocked to see how much natural goodness Sephora has started to carry. See their cleanest best-sellers here.

From spritzes to serums, cleansers to night creams, each of these is worthy of your highly curated collection…

  1. I have a concern about the Josie Maran argan oil. It is $48 for 1.7 oz, and contains one ingredient: argan oil. You can get 4 oz of the same thing for around $12. I don’t appreciate companies ripping customers off (that badly at least), and would expect Chalkboard Mag not to condone such. Disappointing.

    • I buy my organic argan oil, at organic infusions, your right josie maran is quite pricey. Fyi I bought a bottle twice the size for half the price a year and a half ago and still have about a quarter of it left. I keep it in the fridge so it doesn’t spoil.

  2. I am concerned about the promotion of using Origins and Boscia for a “natural” skincare line – it should be known that they are not considered to be cruelty free. This is because they do sell in China where animal testing is done by law to sell their products 🙁 Please try harder Chalkboard Mag to promote products that are not of the expense of animal cruelty.

  3. I think the only natural products here are Herbivore and Josie Maran.

  4. Water is a chemical. You people are being ridiculous about not wanting anything scientific in your skin care products, but it is your face so have at it. Just so you know ow, if there are no needles involved (and of course there aren’t!) then nothing is breaking the skin/blood barrier therefore nothing is seeping into your body because you put it on you skin.

  5. As an RN for 20 yrs, Emily, I must disagree. Anything you slather or spray on your skin easily! absorbs into your bloodstream and body…

  6. Sorry to see these “non-natural” brands on here…
I love the Chalkboard, but the editorial team should be taking extra care when it comes to what is promoted to its readers. You are a powerful resource, and influence buying decisions. This is misleading – Boscia / Tarte / Origins are not natural products… they just have some natural ingredients in addition to the chemical ones. Natural beauty has been my passion for the last 10 years (I’ve been blogging on it for 7). It is so important to maintain integrity when you’re speaking out. Hopefully in future collaborations with companies like Sephora, you can gain more sway over which brands are those to be talked about in an article like this. Thank you!

  7. UGH. Please do not invalidate your reputation by including brands such as Origins, Boscia, and Tarte. They ARE NOT natural products and when you include these toxic companies, you significantly diminish our ability to trust you. There are SO MANY natural products out there – even at Sephora! You have no excuse.
