Today, Whitney Port has announced that she’s joining floral forces with Bloom2Bloom, a charitable floral company doing work – and building bouquets – we absolutely love. For each purchase of locally and sustainably grown flowers made, Whitney and flower wiz Laurenne Resnik are donating funds  to help decorate hospital rooms for teens with severe medical conditions. Can you think of a reason not to fill every empty vase?

It couldn’t make more sense for someone as bright, fresh and fashion-focused as L.A. lady and former TCM Guest Editor, Whitney Port, to venture down this path, and we’re planning on packing in the petals everywhere we can.

Here’s what the ladies have to say about the new venture… Whitney: “I’m so proud that Bloom2Bloom’s gorgeous bouquets come directly to you from local flower farmers using sustainable practices, thanks to Laurenne’s experience in the flower industry for 5 years!” Laurenne: “I feel so lucky to have Whitney as a partner, bringing her years of experience in the fashion industry to help in creating stylish bouquets. Our aim is to make flowers not just a luxury item but a feel-good item for everyday life. It is very important for us as a brand to give back and to be involved in our local community donating a portion of the proceeds to Wish Upon a Teen, an amazing charity that supports chronically or terminally ill teenagers.”

Get a glimpse of the fashion-forward new floral collection here, and hop on over to our Instagram Friday, the 24th for a chance to win one of Whit’s fave bouquets!
