I am a huge fan of turmeric smoothies. I especially love them with coconut oil, which is rich in healthy fats and helps to build collagen and keep my complexion glowing. Turmeric is also anti-inflammatory, which helps with anti-aging. I love the following recipe. I freeze all the fruit when it’s ripe and this eliminates the need for ice.
Anti-aging COCONUT TURMERIC SMOOTHIE

DIRECTIONS
Blend all ingredients in a NutriBullet or other blender.
This was such a unique and delicious combination! I didn’t have the maca but it is still awesome! I will definitely be making this a lot during the summer!
I am a sucker for anything anti-aging but when I logged these ingredients in using hemp milk since it is lower in calories this worked out to 445 calories per serving!
Yum! Just made this smoothie this morning and it’s perfect for spring. I used almond milk and frozen mango instead and added spinach. I will be making this again 🙂
I was wondering what I could substitute for banana please?
Try any other fruit like strawberries, or blueberries.
I use raw turmeric in everything and have no burst channels in fact I feel best using raw turmeric and raw ginger instead of powered , maybe it only applies to India genetics or weak bodies
I use apples for my smoothie base as we have an abundance of apples. About 10 years ago sprouted apple pips fell out of some store bought apples so I planted them and more. I now have 20+ huge trees with a fabulous variety of apples. I store my apples in old fridges and have a timer on them so they only come on for 1/4 hour every 2 hours and that keeps the fridge at 10 deg. this gives me fresh apples continually until the next season. You may like to try it too.
