These little chocolate disks are exactly why we love Chef Jeffrey Nimer. He makes clean eating so fun. As personal chef for some of the coolest healthy Los Angelenos we know – just trust – Chef Jeffrey and his culinary crew at Haute Chefs LA buzz about Hollywood day and night to create custom menus for both special events and everyday healthy meals. While he specializes in the kind of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food we personally die for, Chef Jeffrey is probably best known for creating delicious meals that bend to any and every dietary restriction under the sun. As a private chef in Los Angeles, we can only imagine that he’s seen it all.
Chef Jeffrey’s simple take on these delicious vegan chocolates are the perfect cooking project for dads and their kids as a Mother’s Day surprise – they’re so quick and easy, they turn out rather elegantly, and kids can add their own toppings. They’re also a great go-to for home cooks like us who are always on the hunt for the simplest route to healthy snacks and desserts. These chocolate disks are packed with nutrition and as versatile as can be – we’re all about the pomegranate and hemp seeds he’s used here, but if you’re looking for different flavors or even colors, anything from organic rose petals and lavender to pink salt and granola would work here. Go crazy with them and share what you’ve made with us! Whip up a batch of these disks immediately and you can blame us for your new form of chocolate fixation.
