I like to teach my 2 year old daughter to be green and preserve our world, and we do anything we can to make that possible. We are constantly making crafts from recycled materials. Recently we made some rain toys from toilet paper rolls. We consign her clothes at a local store to get more use out of them. We also love books, so instead of buying them we borrow them from the library and we make sure we return them better than what we got them by cleaning them!

TEA FOR YOUR TRESSESIf I know I’ll be spending some time in the sun, after shampooing, I soak my hair in lukewarm super-concentrated chamomile tea. The tea enhances the highlighting effects of the sun, without the harsh strippers of peroxide or commercial dyes!
A BOOT SALUTEIf you've ever glanced in your closet and seen your tall boots sadly flopping to one side, this tip is perfect for you. Buy a foam pool noodle, cut it to the length of your boot, and insert inside. This is a much more frugal alternative to those bulky boot racks sold at retail stores, and your boots will stand at attention the next time you look for them!
