NYC bite of the month: The Grown-Up Fruit Cup

We’RE totally devoted to the West Coast, but we have a huge crush on the City That Never Sleeps. Every month, Eater Drinks editor Kat Odell brings us sips and bites that make us want to pack a bag and hop on the next non-stop flight. Here’s Kat on Dante’s Pimm’s Cup, the best grown-up fruit cup, ever…

WHY I DRANK IT:

Aside from the fact that West Village newbie Dante has an entire menu dedicated to Negronis (my favorite drink, don’t miss the mezcal and cold brew-spiked Negroni Coffee Swizzle), the cocktail menu in its entirety is a total win. From the neo-pina colada fresca to the salty dog, every drink here is a win. And that’s because lauded barman Naren Young is behind the stick, and a perfect example of his deft touch is evidenced in Dante’s refreshing Pimm’s Cup, a beautiful bounty of fruit flavoring an English classic. It’s eye candy in drink form.

WHY YOU NEED IT:

Because it’s one of the prettiest cocktails in all of Manhattan. And it’s like a fruit cup in drink form. #drinkswithsnacks

Where To Find It:
