  • Obsession of the moment:

manuka honey. I've been using one spiritbeautylounge.com gave me as a face mask and my skin has been loving it.

  • Can’t travel without...

Tata Harper Aromatic Bed Time Treatment. It keeps me relaxed and if I get stuck near the loo, it's my savior.

  • In a pinch I…

use my face oil in my hair, and on my nails and cuticles.

  • Always in my evening clutch:

individual eyedrops! My contacts shrivel up as the day goes on and nothing looks worse in evening party photos than squinty, red eyes!

  • Beautifying snack/meal:

despite its trendiness, I'm going to say it: a kale salad. I massage kale with organic olive oil, toss in some fresh or smoked cut-up salmon, squeeze half a lemon on top, and scoop half an avocado into it. If I have any ground up flax seed, I'll sprinkle it on top along with gray sea salt. Find our fave kale salad recipes here!

  • Beautifying drink:

First thing in the morning, I drink a big glass of water with half a lemon squeezed in and 2 tsp of apple cider vinegar.

  • For ultra-glamorous effect...

tap a face oil or highlighter onto your cheekbones, bridge of your nose, cupid's bow, and inner corners of your eyes.

  • A perfect pout...

has been exfoliated and well moisturized (the lips are the only part of the body that can't rehydrate itself). Use a soft toothbrush or a muslin cleansing cloth while in the shower, like the one from Pai, to get off dead skin and then slather on your favorite lip balm. I love the tinted lip balms. from Burt's Bees.

  • Beauty tool:

Kevyn Aucoin or Shu Uemera Eyelash Curler

  • Weirdest beauty habit:

apple cider vinegar mixed with water in a spray bottle in my medicine cabinet – I use it twice daily as a toner (I swear it doesn't make me smell like ACV).

  • In the shower I keep...

a bar of black soap from Soapwalla, shower gel from Patyka and Dr. Hauschka, shampoo and conditioner from Rahua and Sabon, an Organic Muslin Face Cloth from Pai, Dirty Girl Garden Rose Leaf Sugar Scrub, Skinnyskinny Organic Black Coffee Body Scrub, Splurge Skincare "The Rub" Peppermint Foot Scrub.

  • On my bedside table:

a TON of body oils, creams and lip balms:Tammy Fender Lavender Body Oil, Patyka body oil, a tub of raw shea butter, La Bella Figura Rainforest Hydration balm, Burt's Bees cuticle cream, lip balms by RMS, Ilia, and Smith Farms.

  • Once a month I…

douse my hair in coconut oil and sit with a towel on it for at least an hour.

  • After a long night or rough weekend…

I meditate and load up on Lotus Wei scented oils and spritzes. Aromatherapy is one of the main ways I find I can wake up the best.

  • On little sleep I rely on:

see above. Also a matcha tea.

  • The product that changed my skin:

to be honest... I'm still waiting for it.

  • Most treasured beauty tip:

    stand up straight.

  • For glowing skin…

you MUST hydrate hydrate hydrate it! This has to come first, before any makeup touches your face!

  1. I am absolutely smitten with manuka honey as well. If my skin needs moisture, I will do a straight up manuka honey face mask. If my skins needs a bit of clarity and brightening, I mix 2 teaspoons of full fat greek yogurt with 1/2 teaspoon of manuka honey. It makes a good snack, too. Win-Win.

  2. With your love of oils Skin & Bones moisturizer would be a great fit for your daily regimen. It is hair, body, and a face oil with only pure ingredients and therapeutic grade essential oils – and the scent is divine! It heals acne, eczema, oily and dry skin, and leaves skin with a glow.

  3. I am wondering if there are any mineral powders/concealers that are natural you would recommend?
