  1. I love to put Josie Maran’s argan hair oil on my hair before I go out in the sun. They heat & sun helps the all natural moisturizers sink in…and after I wash my hair, its softer and shinier!

  2. Grapeseed oil and Palladio rice paper blots are my best friends during the summer months. I drench my skin in the grapeseed because the antioxidants keep my skin balanced and help me maintain an overall glow and smoothness to my skin. The rice paper blots I keep them handy at night when I go out to help the little bit of sweat and shine factor I have left over from the day. And a smile. Which is always gives me that perfect glow to beat the heat!

  3. Awesome! Thanks for the opportunity!

I am not sure where I learned this from, but… My hair is thick, frizzy and wavy and hard to control without an hour of preparation. Not only in the summer, but anytime I want to air-dry my hair into an effortless, yet sexy style, I use this spray:

2 tbsp Sea Salt or Epsom salt (adjust of it dries out your hair)
1 tsp Aloe Vera for a light hold (I also use aloe and water for a hair spray!)
    8 oz. of water
Essential oil drops of choice (optional) – I like coconut!
*I have heard of using honey in the recipe – haven’t tried it yet*
Shake and VOILÀ! Beautiful, Effortless Beachy Waves =)

  4. Being comfortable in your own skin! And LOTS of sunscreen.

  5. During the summer, sandals can be hard on the feet and lead to dry heels. Here is one remedy for a natural foot scrub using argan oil:

    2 tablespoons brown sugar
    1 tablespoon honey
    1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Josie Maran’s argan oil
Mix and use as a foot scrub!

That’s great when you’re home, but if you’re at the beach, you can use sand to exfoliate. This can be done with dry sand or you can add a little saltwater to create a paste. So many great beauty ideas come straight from nature!

  6. I love Josies argon oil for the skin and hair. I use it twice a day it’s a great anti aging serum. I also like her glow stick great for a summer glow on cheeks and makes a great lip color.

  7. Add any kind of mineral pigment such as mineral eyeshadow, bronzer or radiance powder to your body moisturizer for a beautiful shimmery glow that will reflect sunlight and look gorgeous in the sunlight at the beach or out at night. Gold and pearl colors are good to start with, but there are almost no rules with this and experimenting to find the best combination is a smart idea. The only rule I would recommend is to add just a little at first because a little goes a long way and you can always add more.

  8. WATER…
to hydrate your body, to clean your face, to wash your hair, to erase mistakes, to go for a swim, to inspire your outfit, to brush your teeth, to make cocktails, to wipe off sweat and to rejuvenate in anyway possible

  9. In the summer, I wear a lot of sunscreen and tend to sweat a lot. To avoid drying out my face with over washing, I switch to washing with raw honey when I need a mid-day refresh.

  10. For brown spots, I dab a bit of freshly squeezed lemon juice on a q-tip or cotton pad, and apply it to my face (religiously) before bedtime. Works like magic in a couple weeks, and I smell like lemonade when I go to sleep! 🙂

  11. I find that a little scented powder (even Johnson’s talc- free baby powder) works wonders to help with freshness amid the humidity of the South. Also, shimmer bronzers are my go- to for face and body. I already use argan oil on my hair and in the shower, so I am convinced it would be fabulous for my face as well. An argan based shimmer bronzer would be a dream come true!

  12. In Winter I discovered your Argan Cleansing oil, this will be my go to product for Summer, along with a few other tips and tricks I have learnt along the way! I use my lipbalm on my brow bone and cheek bones to give an illuminating effect….I use Lucas Paw Paw on my lips, cuticles and other dry areas such as elbows, heels and knees to provide high intense moisture. At the very start of Summer I use a light everyday tanner from St Tropez to gradually build up a bronzed effect on my body without the strong fake tan smell, plus a +30plus high spectrum sunscreen from Le Tan in coconut. Then to finish off my Summer routine, I use Butter nail polish on my nails in a bright hue to brighten my day. Voila I am Summer ready.

  13. I absolutely love summer and adapt to what it does to my skin and body.

It makes me oily but less acne prone. And the sun makes me naturally warm toned. ln order to keep my skin healthy and balanced, my summer secret is aloe. I buy aloe from farmer’s markets and create a great summer moisturizer and to balance the pH on my skin.

  14. My most important summer accessory is sunscreen! On top of that, for the first time in years, I have lightened up on my typically matte make up look and embraced a more fresh faced glow (after taking a chance on a $14 vile of Josie’s Argan oil at Sephora a few weeks ago).. Since then my skin has felt and looked exceptionally great and I no longer feel like covering it up with so much make up. I am excited to try Josie’s make up line and continue to change up my cosmetics routine to incorporate natural products. Thank you, Josie! I’m already convincing all my friends to try the Argan oil 🙂

  15. Glowing skin the natural way! I make a facial mask with mashed fresh strawberries, corn starch, and honey. It clarifies, exfoliates, and hydrates skin at the same time, and can be used a couple of times per week.

  16. I cycle a lot and use Josie’s Argan Sun Protection For Body SPF 30+ and Daily Moisturizer SPF 40+ as well. Love them both! And as simple as it sounds, my summer trick…I drink lots of water and enjoy the fresh bounty of farmers’ markets as what one eats is as equally important as what one applies!

  17. Josie Maran’s Argan oil is not only my essential for summer, but for all year long as well. I put a small amount on my face after the shower in the morning, and after I clean my face at night. My skin is softer, healthier, and radiant! I eventually want to try all of Josie Maran’s products – they make me feel safe due to the natural ingredients and I am happy to support Josie’s cause.

After being introduced to this site (The Chalkboard), I watched your video on Josie Maran Summer Picks…and instantly went searching to buy the items listed…and found everything on Sephora-buying your Argan Balm & Oil. MULTI-PURPOSE Products make me BEYOND excited! Brilliant. Additionally, I am constantly running around for clients, so I am now obsessed with the Rosey Mist & Naked Wipes! DREAMY. Thank you for refreshing my SUMMER beauty routine!

  21. My summer staples are pure Coconut Oil and Vinegar. I use the Coconut oil to hydrate my skin. Then, I drink Vinegar, and apply it to my face to naturally clean and close the pores.

  25. During the summer months I like to get up 45 mins before my 2 year old does. I lounge out in the morning sun for 30 mins while drinking my Odwalla Green juice and reading my favorite crime mysteries. For the day I just put on a little mascara and shiny lip gloss and poof I have my beautiful summer glow and I’m much happier to start my day. Did i mention that Im NOT a morning person!

  29. My special summer (and all year) beauty trick: dry skin brushing before a shower, and then just before I hop out of the shower, I massage some oil in my skin (head to toe). The combination makes for super soft, supple, healthy skin that glows! Add argan oil and all-natural skincare and beauty products and you’re a force to be reckoned with!

  31. I love to use all of Josie’s products year round, and I love giving them a fresh spin for summer with these homemade recipes [I try to do each once a week or every other week]…

-I mix a few tablespoons of Josie’s 100% Pure Argan Oil with raw sugar and some sort of fresh squeezed citrus juice — grapefruit, lemon, whatever I have at home — and use it as a body scrub. Followed up with Argan Body Butter and sunscreen, my skin is left super smooth and glowing.

    – For my face I love to mix half a cup of plain fresh yogurt with a tablespoon of Argan Oil. Put it all over my face for 10 or 15 minutes, rinse, and follow with a few drops of Argan Oil and Josie Maran sunscreen. The yogurt is really soothing, which also makes this great for sunburn and the lactic acid helps get rid of any dullness. The added Argan Oil also makes it really hydrating.
    – For hair, I Mix Argan Oil with Jojoba oil, almond oil or coconut oil [sometimes all four]. I pour that over my hair using a squirt bottle, throw my hair in a braid, and head outside in the sun; the heat warms up the oils so they really sink in, and sometimes I’ll even leave it in overnight, washing it out in the morning. I usually skip the blow dryer in the summer months, so the Argan Oil treatment really helps to hydrate and give my hair soft, shiney waves.

But really the best for summer is just to get outside and enjoy the sun and fresh air! Combining time outdoors with a healthy natural beauty routine always make me feel happy and beautiful!

  32. For me, the most important thing to do hydrate since I am big sweater. Second, is a sunscreen. I soak my face in raw coconut oil and after about 15 minutes (once it’s soaked and I have blotched the remains off) I apply the Tropical Sands 100% natural sunscreen with spf 30. It is Eco-Friendly and and the bottle is biodegradable. So not only do I protect my skin but also help the world!

  33. I tend to use pure theraputic grade lavender oil with another carrier oil (such as Josie Maran’s Argan Oil) as a topical sunburn relief. I’ve spent so many summers in the Caribbean, that getting sunburned sometimes happens. Using lavender oil and argan oil has helped soothe and heal my sunburns in a matter of days. It’s truly an essential of mine!

I make an oil blend that I love- its currently 75% coconut oil, 20% extra virgin olive oil, and 5% tea tree oil (although I would love to have some of Josie’s argan oil to throw in there as well…) I use this oil for EVERYTHING- shaving, bath oil, light moisturizer, scalp massage, and in my deep conditioner along with honey and cone-free conditioner (which I mix with salt and water to make my after shower beachy wave spray!)

  41. I believe in the power of organic oil as a skin and hair tonic because it actually penetrates the skin better than any conditioner or lotion. The night before an event, I mix organic coconut, argan and sesame oil (with essential oils) in a glass container which I immerse in a separate container of hot water. I work this through my hair with my fingers and sleep with it overnight. The next morning I wash it out with organic shampoo (free of sulphates, parabens and sodium benzoate) and lukewarm water. I let my hair air-dray outside in order to harness the vitamin D properties of the sun. For a beauty ritual in the morning, before a start to a busy social weekend, I apply organic argan oil to my face and over that I put on a clay mask to draw out impurities. The oil prevents the clay from drying out the skin, and seems to activate the clay ingredients! While I wait for the mask to do it’s magic, I make a female-hormone smoothie since a healthy glow comes mainly from within – I mix spring water with raw yoghurt, chia seeds, maca root, shatavari (asparagus root powder), ashwaghanda (Indian ginseng), coconut oil, raw honey and a banana! All organic! And viola – a beautiful balance from within and without!

  42. My summertime beauty trick is having my blonde eyelashes tinted! A dark tint lasts 4-6 weeks…no mascara needed to frame my eyes. In and out of the water without worry, run, bike and sweat like crazy without batting and eye, and at the end of the day, I can wash my face with pure, gentle cleansers – no makeup remover necessary.

  43. My summer trick is to keep skincare routine simple but effective! I wear minimum makeup in the summer, make sure to use moisturzer with at least spf15 every single day and moisturize at night with all in one remedy for me – Josie Maran`s 100% pure Argan oil… It is my serum, moisture and intense treatment all in one! Very simple and i am happy with the results! Oh and the most important trick not just for summer but year round – keep positive attitude and smile more! 46. summer beauty tip: i grew up on the beach and have worn sunscreen my entire life, but friends who come to visit don’t always follow safe sun practices. many a guest has come back to the house after a day in the sun with red skin. we send them straight to the tub to soak in cool or room temp bath water mixed with a box of baking soda. takes the redness down and cools the skin. slather them in aloe afterward and hope they learn their lesson 🙂

  47. My go to everything is Josie Maran’s argan oil. I have a bottle in my shower (to put on still moist skin) a bottle in my purse (use it for hand lotion throughout the day – especially on my cuticles) a bottle on my sink in the bathroom (my husband actually uses that most) and a bottle in my teenage daughter’s bathroom – to get her started on a good routine early. I use the oil from head to toe – highly recommend it!

  48. My special summer beauty trick is letting myself sweat, it’s good for you to sweat for beauty, it’s your body’s own natural salt water that comes through the pores of your entire body, renewing full body beauty, skin clarity and moisturization. It gets the toxins out. Of course to do that, my year round beauty must have is water everywhere I go all day.

I have a wonderful new beauty “trick” thanks to Josie, and it’s her Josie Maran Argan Balm, with all the gardening, playing in dirt, sand, the outdoors, it’s phenominal, safe, and very effective for everything! The best trick for it, after a day of your hands being all over sand, dirt from gardening, hiking, kids, or just anything life throw your way, on clean hands, put on your moisturizer, then just before bed, cover your hands, cuticles and even nails and your palms if you need it with the Argan Balm (a little goes a long way)! No matter what you do after that, run your hands through your hair, anything (and I use the balm for so many things, full body and even face) that you’re safe and it will only help any skin and hair it comes into contact with! You not only wake up with soft, supple, glowing hands, they even bead off water and excess environmental stressors for the first few hours of the day, without being greasy. No gloves required in this beauty trick!

    THE BEST BEAUTY TRICK

I also learned as a teen working in a restaurant, a great beauty trick for you is something that’s best for the environment, animals, food safety, pets, children, you and everyone! It’s the easiest thing ever and so key for summer! While your grill is still warm (for all your outdoor barbecues) use Pickle juice poured right on the grill, doesn’t matter if it’s a flat top grill or one with grates, it cleans up so quickly you’ll be amazed, no scrubbing and it’s ready for use again, even if stragglers come late. You don’t have to put chemicals on your cooking surface at all, no worries for yourself, pets, children or wildlife getting near it. It’s all natural, and doesn’t attract bugs! That’s beautiful for everyone, chemical free, safe, fun, and summer ready (also, very inexpensive ;D )

    All my best,

    Tara J.

I drink PiMag™ water and take JadeGreen™ every morning, that keeps my skin hydrated, smooth and pH balanced! I use True Elements™ skin care for lotion, its certified through Eco Cert and is light, yet also protects my skin without harsh chemicals. 50. Well, there are a couple things: I have no poo days. I take one day and do not wash my hair. I put oil in it, either coconut, argan, or grapeseed(depends on what I have on hand) and braid it. My hair is soooo soft for the next week. Second, I wash my face every night. Sometimes, I will take corn meal and mix it with some cleanser and wash my face that way. Third, I always smile. If I have a bad day or a debbie downer day, my daughter and I go out for a walk together. Going outside revitalizes me in a way no gym or products ever could. Thats my summer rescue. Thanks for the chance to win! Good luck everyone!!!!

  52. I love this video!! I have already tried some of Josie Maran’s products and I love them all, I’ve become a believer in Argan oil! This video makes me want to buy everything I’ve yet to try. Over the past few years, I have learned that going natural when it comes to my beauty routine (and diet) is the best way to go. My skin and hair do not react horribly to products with natural and organic ingredients.

When it comes to my current beauty routine, I now know to keep argan oil handy at all times, I use it on my acne prone skin (especially before bed), for my split ends and for dry skin. As a natural exfoliator, I use sugar on my face, and I even use lemons sometimes because they help brighten. For my dry hair, when I ran out of argan oil, I actually put mayonnaise in my hair, let it sit for 15 minutes then washed it out. My hair felt great afterward! And as part of my diet, I drink green and/or white (decaffeinated) tea EVERYDAY. I even poured some of the green tea into a spray bottle to spritz on my face every now and then (I keep it in the fridge to keep it cool), to help my skin absorb some more antioxidants, couldn’t hurt!

Keep up the Amazing work Josie, you helped transform my beauty routine for life. <3

  53. My summer beauty tip? To revel in the lovely yet short-lived warm weather while it lasts. Living in the Seattle area, I know our days of summer sun are limited, so I like to get outdoors (with sun protection, of course) for some hiking, farmers markets, parks and beaches. Cherishing the beauty of mother nature is is the first step to being a natural beauty!

  58. Argan oil is definitely my summer beauty trick, as well as Spring, Winter and Fall. I have used it for two years now and absolutely love it.
I used a few drops in my regular body lotion and it silkens my skin. I have vowed to by the Argan Body Butter someday…but until then, this is the next best thing.
For a facial mask I add a couple drops of Argan Oil to Greek Yogurt (with active probiotics) and a bit of lemon or citrus juice. Spread all over my face and leave on for around 20 minutes. Then rinse using a soft was cloth and warm water. Finish with a couple drops of Argan oil to seal in the treatment. The Yogurt exfoliates and nourishes…the Argan oil softens, protects and adds anti-aging benefits and the lemon is loaded with vitamin C and brightens the skin. Easy, accessible and inexpensive! It works wonders!

  60. From Monday – Friday this summer I will be stuck in my office, and, let me tell you, New York City is GROSS in the summer — pollution, extreme heat, stale muggy air…yuck. But with natural healthy beauty products [like the Josie Maran Argan Oil!] I can keep my skin, hair, and body as a whole healthy and hydrated [along with TONS of water, good food and everyday exercise].

But my best beauty tip: if you’re like me and your summer will be 75% stuck indoors at a desk and only 25% outside in sun, make that 25% really count!
Saturday and Sunday are the only days I’m not commuting to NY and then spending the day glued to a desk, so I’m going to spend all the free time I have outside with friends and family! Forget the TV and computer; I’ll be having picnics, going for walks, swimming, playing with my adorable dog Lucy, and having friends over for barbeques. And for those days where I’m back at the desk, I’ll stay summery with a healthy lunch of seasonal fruits and veggies. Combined with a Josie Maran beauty routine, my summer plan will keep me healthy inside and out!

I am so used to using sunscreen any time I go out in the sun. This moisturizer is non-greasy, offers protection and hydration, and is anti-aging. I love how versatile it is. I just plain love, love, love it!!

  66. My top beauty tip — aside from drinking a lot of water, getting plenty of sleep and lots of love (also: sex) — is a natural exfoliant I make from oats & honey, which works incredibly for oily skin: I mix 1/3 cup of fast cook oatmeal, 1/4 cup of honey, and 1/2 cup of water to make a light paste and apply evenly on my face, using tea bags over my eyelids to reduce redness. Sometimes I add organic goat’s milk yogurt to the mix if I want to take the extra step, but this simple treatment works really well to make your skin smooth and supple. For hair, since I have a wavy-curly texture — my background is Cuban — and my ends tend to get quite dry whenever the seasons change, on the eve of summer I make a hair mask using 1/2 ripe avocado (mashed), and I add a little bit of Josie’s argan oil and a few drops of lavender, just to make it extra fragrant. I apply a little bit to my roots and tips, sealing the moisture with a shower cap. After 20 minutes, I rinse off, let air dry and boom: gleaming, soft hair. My grandmother used to do everything with avocados when she lived in Cuba, from making delicious avocado-mango custard desserts to using them as natural conditioners and moisturizers. Avocado oil is magical for your skin and hair. Not to mention, a little bit of the healthy fats from avocado go a long way in terms of losing or maintaining weight. Eat a little avocado in your salad, or blend in your smoothie, every few days: it’s sustaining, great for your skin, and delicious.

  67. I tend to use a tinted moisturizer, and maybe a bit of bronzer to contour my face. some days I just don’t feel like wearing anything so then I clean my face and use a good lip balm. I heard a lot about Argan oil but it doesn’t sell in my country, but it look so good and I am sure it feels even better so when I have a chance I will try it for sure!

  68. I am preggers with twins and since my first pregnancy I am all about using all natural products. I have lived in AZ for the past 6 years and my skin has really dried out. Plus, I have to wear SPF everyday because I am so scared of the sun here:) I was so excited when I read about JM SPF that is all natural but not so thick that it leaves a white paste. I then, happened to also start using argan oil which has seemed to keep me from having this odd peeling on my skin that I had been getting…basically it’s a miracle worker that I am sharing with everyone. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to use it!
I’m all about water during the summer months to stay hydrated and having my hubby oil my hair once a week which is really relaxing and great for the hair…I’m planning on mixing my argan oil in with the coconut oil or olive oil I already use:)
Loved all of the posts and the JM video!

  69. I don’t have the means to buy anything since I lost my job last August. So my summer beauty trick is to drink as much water as I can & stay away from junk food & eat the healthiest food I can can afford. I keep reminding my self that being healthy, alive & free is a blessing I treasure & enjoy. Just to sit under a tree with my beautiful dogs enjoying a good weather day & being peaceful makes me feel kind of pretty. Of course aging is not easy & I need more help than ever taking care of my body & try to feel pretty. For now I’m doing the best of what I have. But I do have a plan & a list of some things I will get one day when I can to help with my skin problems and to make me feel more confidante & pretty. So for now the best thing I do is to always wear a hat & sunglasses to protect my face from the sun.

  74. Since I was a child I was always very pale and my skin burnt easily in the sun. Once year I was on holiday with my family and we met an elderly couple who were super tanned and glowing and I said to the lady that I wished I had brown skin like her and she told me that years ago for 6 months before going on holiday she started putting olive oil in her bath and adding it to her body lotion and then when she went on holiday she no longer burned and went a lovely dark brown and has continued to do it ever since. Well I tried it a few years ago and havent looked back since – I no go a gorgeous brown in the sun and never burn (obviously you still have to wear sunscreen – very important!) – the olive oil somehow imparts its olivey magic in the skin!

    Try it!

  75. Definitely primer and also a rosy cheek tint! Too much foundation in the summer goes south very fast, so I put it on with a very light hand or use tinted moisturizer.

  76. My favorite summer trick is really simple– exfoliating and moisturizing with natural ingredients. I make a scrub by combining brown sugar and olive oil and use it on my body. The scrubbing action dissolves the sugar, so you’re left super soft and smelling kind of like cookies. I follow up doing that in the shower with coconut oil instead of lotion for perfect summer skin.

  78. I love using rose-scented castille soap as a body and hand wash. It doesn’t bother my sensitive skin and it so affordable!

  79. Honestly? Sleep! Though my morning routine doesn’t hurt either – First I drink a glass of hot lemon water, then I either go for a brisk swim or a short run, stretch for longer than I should and then blend a quick and refreshing greens and berry smoothie before jetting off to work. It works for me, bring on the sunshine!

  80. My hair and skin are so DRY, it is a damn shame. I drink a lot of water, have to use weekly treatments for hair, daily. Also have to moisturize my skin 2-3 times a day, but Josie’s argon oil has helped quite a bit!!!!!!

  81. If I am in the sun, I try to always wear a hat and lots of sunscreen. Moisturizing is key, both day and night, to keep my skin soft and supple. 🙂 So glad to see this article! I have been wanting to try Josie’s argan oil for some time, and this was a great reminder!

  82. I’m all about coconut oil for summer beauty—on my hair as a deep conditioner, on my skin after showering, as a makeup remover, in my oatmeal every morning, and swishing with it first thing in the morning! Oils are the best, and I’d love to try Josie’s argan blends!

  83. huge fan of coconut oil as moisturizer, base for oil pulling, cuticle cream, etc. also a huge fan of the oil for baking/cooking. i have found it is the perfect oil for myself and my family. when my son has a chest cold, we also use it with eucalyptus oil as a chest rub.
yet this is not the summer beauty trick i am excited to share. recently, i have done more digging in the area of truly loving myself and taking the sweetest care of me. their are many stories i could share to explain the journey how this simple task was not the norm. once i tuned in to the negative self-talk, i could hardly believe the things i was saying to my self. so you get a sense, here are a couple examples: “no one will ever be able to see passed the stretch marks on your body and think you have a nice figure” or “although motherhood is your favorite thing, your boobs are not what they once were. you should schedule a consult for plastic surgery”. awful right!
after A LOT of work (with the help of a coach), i am happy to say this negativity is almost completely replaced with positivity. when the negative does come up (and it does! thank goodness not as often as it use to), i have the tools to deal with it and then move on. so my summer beauty trick is to rock on with your bad self! i mean it. loving every moment of being outdoors in nature during the summer. singing the sweet tunes of summer love songs to myself first. embracing the me that does not even consider what others think of me. as long as it feels good and right for where i am in the now, its all good! doing yoga as i wait in the line at the grocery store. dancing in the streets during an afternoon rain. there is so much negativity in the world and i choose not to participate in bringing more to it. setting the example to my family and friends that i am enough, you and you and you…are enough.
the help of nicely painted nails (with VEGAN/non-toxic polish) helps out in the summertime as well 😉

  85. LEMONS, MOISTURIZER, AND OLIVE OIL. I am constantly outdoors enjoying the sunshine, so to keep my skin clean, nourished, and happy I use a slice of lemon and rub the lemon slice all over my face and neck before I go to bed. I let all the juice and pulp soak into my skin over night. In the morning, I wash my face with water, pat it dry, and apply a thin layer of facial moisturizer. The lemon has decreased the coloration of past acne scars and also fights all the bad stuff on my face, in a natural way. And the moisturizer is super beneficial because, although I am young now, my skin will thank when I am older! (And still playing in the sun lol!) If I my skin is super dry and the moisturizer isn’t doing the trick, I use a little bit of olive oil, and it smells soooo nice and feels even better than it smells (which is a lot)!!

  86. My summer beauty trick is nothing that is particularly special or cute, but rather involves letting go of my inhibitions and rules and embracing the endless possibilities that summer brings. I am a very regimented person when it comes to my career [in brand-oriented trend forecasting] and my health [in a holistic manner], but when the lush summer months roll around I mindfully quiet that orderly little taskmaster in my head and clear some much-needed space to live a little. I say “YES!” to happy hours, mini-vacations, coconut-milk ice creams at midnight, long and careless drives, star-gazing, and time beautifully spent with the precious people who make my life just fabulous. Indulging in these true gems of summer is the key to a glowing self when September barrels in FAR too soon. Add some raw coconut water (I swear by Harmless Harvest!) to this mix and you have my recipe for an unforgettable summer.

  87. I use the argon oil to cleanse my face before bedtime. It takes off all the makeup and/or sunscreen of the day and leaves my skin feeling soft and comfortable.
